How to choose the right Meta Quest 2 gifts

We have a number of Quest 2 accessories guides that tell you what a new Quest 2 owner needs; if they haven't had the headset for long, you can buy any of these without worrying. But if they've had the headset for a while, you may want to inspect their Quest 2 yourself and see if it already has modifications, before you buy something the owner already has.

The safest bet, of course, is to get them a Quest gift card or gift them a game, assuming you can figure out which games they already own. But which games would they like? You can check our best Quest 2 games guide for a comprehensive list of the best games in each category, from action and horror to family-friendly and exercise games. But some of our favorites can be nauseating for new VR gamers, so we have a guide on our favorite Quest 2 games that avoid motion sickness well-suited to first-timers.

Of course, the best Quest 2 gift is to buy the headset itself, assuming you can afford it. Just keep in mind that the person will best enjoy it if they have a large space to play, since they can easily hurt themselves swinging their arms into or tripping over furniture.
