With Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time set to release later this year, more and more footage of what players can expect to see is being shown, including a brand new gameplay trailer that dives into some new tricks and returning items from the iconic franchise.

The latest gameplay trailer comes from IGN, and showcases a pirate-themed level that sees Crash going traveling from the shore of an island all the way into a gigantic cavern filled with treasure. Along the way, players can spot a ton of staples to the Crash Bandicoot franchise, including Wumpa fruit, Nitro crates, and many more.

Alongside the returning aspects of the game, developers Toys for Bob have also added in some new aspects to the upcoming game. In the trailer, a brand new crate can be seen that seems to blow fire out of various of directions when it lands, as well as a golden Wumpa fruit crate located at the end of the level. Early in the level, Crash is also seen sliding along a rope, and can be seen dropping underneath to avoid hazards, which is another new technique players will get to utilize in the game.

While it remains unclear just how many new aspects Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will have, players can at least expect to see a ton of their favorite things from the series returning, along with a sprinkling of new abilities and items to make the game that much more enjoyable when the game launches on October 2, 2020 on Xbox One and PS4.
